INSTRUCTIONS1. Complete and sign one painting label(s) per entry. The artist is responsible for the accuracy of all label information. Bring or send the entire form with a fee of $15.00 per digital entry by the deadline listed to TNSC c/o Cathie Peters, #19- 2630 Nechako Drive Kamloops, BC, V2E 2C9
2. Mat and frame, if appropriate, your accepted work(s). Paper mats must be presented under glass. Unframed canvases must have staples on the back and edges professionally finished. The hanging wire must be taut and the findings close enough to the upper edge that the painting hangs flat against the wall. Framed painting(s) must be delivered in person. Labels do NOT have to be attached to the back, as this will be done on site.

HOW TO FILL OUT THIS FORM! 1) Pricing: please provide an unframed price only if you want to sell a work without its frame. This is not recommended for custom-sized frames you will not want to re-use. 2) Juror's remarks will be provided only to those who request them. No clarification or elaboration on these remarks will be available. FCA TNSC executive and committee members are not jurors and cannot comment on either accepted or declined entries. 3) Please do not call the Gallery for your jury results, you will receive a call/email at the number/address you provided.
RESTRICTIONS TO BE AWARE OF:
1) Works created in workshops and/or classes are not eligible for entry in juried shows whether the instructor made any marks on the image or not. All art submitted must be original and from original source material. 2) TNS Chapter is unable to hang paintings which are not for sale. 3) For the protection of the artist, paintings with unsigned labels cannot be hung in the Chapter shows. Please ensure that your labels are completed in full and that the price is correct. |
