What can you sell at Art on the Move?

 ·         Original art, framed or wrapped.

 ·         Prints, framed or wrapped

 ·         Art photos, framed.  Good quality framed mirrors.

What does it cost to enter items for sale?

 ·         Early Bird entries: $5 a piece.  Guaranteed to be featured in the May 26 Sneak Peak evening, (Max of 5)  (5 others may be entered at $2, but are not guaranteed to be on display Thursday evening)

 ·         Regular entries: $2 a piece. Maximum of 10 items.  They will not all be on display for opening night, but most will be up for the rest of the sale.  Last time we had everything out Friday to Sunday.  Artists selling their own work may enter 5 pieces, but may also submit another 5 that are not art they have produced.

 ·         Your share is 60%.  The rest goes to cover expenses and support the TNS Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists.  Consider this when you pre-price your sale items.  (How badly do you want to sell it?  How much is the piece worth, framed?  Original art costs more than a print, for instance.

 ·         PRICE REDUCTIONS MANDATORY FOR SUNDAY.  YOU CHOOSE FROM 10%, 15%, 25%, 35%.  Sunday from noon to 2 o’clock, an extra 10% will be added to the original discount.  (This is a big sale day for bargain hunters, so build in the discount when you price the work.)
