Submissions are accepted online only (Submit). There is a tutorial video on the FCA website that provides instructions for submitting on-line (Member Resources).

Submissions must follow FCA show entry rules including but not limited to:

·        Artworks may not be the result of a workshop or class and be created solely by the member artist.

·        If reference photos are used they must be taken by the artist or by amateur photographers and used with their consent

·        An individual artwork may be shown once in a Chapter Show and once in an FCA Gallery Show.

·        Accepted artwork may only be shown at one TNSC hosted show.

All works must be available for sale.

All work must be signed on the front by the artist.

Members may enter artwork that has previously been shown in the Old Courthouse Gallery that was hosted by an art group other than the TNSC.

A maximum of five artworks may be submitted for consideration; two ‘Qualifying’ works will be hung per artist; however, subject to venue space, additional pieces may be included to hang in the show. If there are limitations on space, additional qualifying pieces will be recognized pieces as part of the online show.

Artwork must have been completed in the last two years.

Artists may only send works that have been juried and have received an acceptance e-mail to hang.

SFCA TNSC members may submit one piece to hang in the show but will not be considered for awards. Please contact Patricia House (membershipchair@tnsc.ca ) for details regarding a SFCA submission for this show.

2.      COPYRIGHT

While using photos as reference for painting is a long-held accepted practice, using stock imagery or photos taken by professional photographers is not permissible, even with their permission. Photographs by professional photographers are considered artworks in and of themselves.

All artists submitting to this show must sign a waiver that declares their artwork is not a copy, derivative or based on the work of others or in any way an infringement of copyright.  The TNSC reserves the right to reject submitted artwork that appears to be in violation of copyright law.

The artist will pay the TNSC $100 for withdrawing a piece from the show for any reason, including but not limited conflicting shows or prior sale(s).
