I wanted to tackle the waterfall and decided to add the dippers to bring some life to the painting.The American Dipper is the only songbird in North America that dives into creeks and rivers to catch it's food. I became enamored with them after a friend told me about these charming little birds. They do a quirky little dip when standing that is so comical.
