This painting is done in oils on canvas. I work in layers with glazes to achieve the glowing affect. The personality of the horse or its mood is what I have tried to capture. This painting captures an intent interest .. another horse. I love all animals but horses have always been my favorite. I was fortunate to have owned several in my lifetime.
