This painting is of a jewel of Canadian history that resides on Keno Hill and is located at the Keno 200 Adit. The iconic ore cart rests on rusted rails before a spectacular view of Mt Hinton in the distance behind Bunker Hill, and Hope Gulch to the left. I worked as a cook for a mining company in Keno City and on the morning I was to leave for home, I drove up Keno Hill to sketch this relic for a future entry in "The Painted Diary"...
