“UNTITLED TOO”
At the Kamloops Arts Council's Main Gallery
Drop Off / Hanging - September 30, 2025
Show Opens - October 1, 2025
Pick Up - October 30, 2025
This interactive educational exhibition a follow-up to the popular 'UNTITLED' held in 2023. It is for all Thompson Nicola Shuswap Chapter of the FCA (TNSC) members in a non-juried show/sale. It is intended to be fun, educational, and interactive!
The only catch his that ALL works MUST be “UNTITLED”.
Artists often have difficultly coming up with creative or distinctive titles for their work. In this show, visitors will be provided “sticky notes” to write what they think a piece should be called and then stick it next to the piece they came up with a title for. Visitors may do as few or as many titles suggestions as they want for any or all of the works shown. The titles will allow visitors and artists to what speaks about a piece to others.
The KAC will have 30% and the TNSC will have 5% commission on sales.
Subject matter is open to member artists choice.
Both pieces for sale and not for sale will be eligible to participate.
It is expected that this show will have space for about 20 works, depending on size. Please consider size when submitting, the preferred maximum dimensions are 24” wide by 36” high. Larger pieces may be considered, subject to space, but there is no guarantee of acceptance for larger pieces.
Any FCA 2-D approved medium.
All works must have finished sides and hanging hardware following FCA hanging specifications.
Eligible work includes but is not limited to:
o Work that has previously been shown in an FCA show.
o Work that was created in a workshop, except where the instructor provided the reference and multiple students painted the same painting.
o Work that relies on photographic references (that the FCA prohibits). Basically, if it does not violate copyright law, you may enter it.
Ineligible work:
o Paintings that are to be entered in the 2026 TNSC Spring Show.
