2021 Spring Regional Art Show

14th Annual Spring Regional Art Show and Sale

Hosted by the Thompson Nicola Shuswap Chapter of the FCA

When:  Drop off is Sunday, April 11.  Pick up after show is Sunday, April 25.

Where:  Old Courthouse Centre for the Arts, 7 Seymour St. West, Kamloops

Who can enter:  Any Active or Signature artist from the TNS Chapter, the North Okanagan, Central Okanagan and South Okanagan Chapters for the FCA. SFCAs will not be eligible for awards.

Entries:  An elegible artist may enter up to 5 pieces, with at most 3 to be hung.  With Covid restrictions on space, that is likely to be 2 pieces per artist, depending upon entry numbers.  Each entry costs $15.  Entries must be based on the artist's own reference materials and may not have been awarded a prize at any other FCA show.  Also, entries may not have hung at another TNSC show.

Sales:  Sales will be, we hope, in person and on line.  Commission is 30%.  Last show we had record sales. 

Covid:  We are hopeful that by April we will be able to run the show with the same protocols as in September.  We will keep you up to date as we are informed by the City and the Health Unit. The show will proceed on-line regardless.

Prizes:  TBA based on number of entries

Jurors:  Sarah Kidner SFCA, 2 others to be announced when finalized.  Jurying will be on line for 2021, with no Passion for Painting demo day or formal opening night.
